"If only I could give 0 stars. I have done my own taxes for years with no issues. I filed for the year 2022 but had been missing a w2. Not wanting to mess with mailing stuff in, I figured I would just pay H&R Block to ammend my taxes for me. The lady I was supposed to see was busy, so I was pawned off on the new guy. I was never made aware of their offers or "peace of mind" package. The new guy forgot to carry a number over from my original tax filing (which was done correctly) and because of this careless mistake, the IRS is asking me for almost 800$ 8 months later. As a single mom, that money has been used already for bills and necessities for myself and my child. After admitting to thier mistake. H&R Block refuses to do anything to help because I did not purchase a package I was never made aware of. Absolutely unacceptable business method, I will never let anyone do my taxes again, especially H&R Block."

"I dropped my Taxes off 9am on 4/17. Yes I understand it was Close to the deadline. I asked the clerk/ person at front desk if I should go home and file a Extension as I do not want to be penalized. She stated " were busy, but yours are pretty simple don't do anything until we call you" Well here I am still no call. I have missed the extension period. Log on to H&R Block to see maybe she uploaded them and did not call. NOPE. Great thank you H&R Block"

Antoinease was very personable and made sure that my taxes were completed correctly. She kept me updated on the status and communicated any questions she had. When it was time to sign off on the paperwork, she made sure I understood everything. I highly reccommend her!"
