H&R Block

"VERY unprofessional! I went in on Feb 1st to do my small business taxes. A women named wanetta ( might have spelled wrong) was supposed to finish my taxes (manager of this location).She forgot she had to finish them (literally what she said) and walked right past me in the waiting area and went home. Everyone was in a rush to leave at 5pm. One night shift tax filer came and and was so sweet! When wanetta was called back to the office by the night shift tax filer in the office to do my taxes, she came back with an attitude. At this Point I just wanted by business documents I came in with that she had locked in her office. She pretended she didn't know where she left them even though she JUST left the office to go home. She miraculously found them in different locations of the office. Some bank statements were in the front receptionist area, some outside her door in a cabinet and some on her office.. I mean how unprofessional is that to have someone's personal documents, scattered all throughout the office! She then proceeded to tell me she couldn't finish them anyways because the lady (dawn) who started them shouldn't add personal bank statements to income when filing an LLC which is false and shows me that even the manager has no clue how to file taxes correctly. Was a mess and extremely ghetto and unprofessional experience."

"I went with my wife to support her when she got her taxes done. That went great. However , I asked about my return that I started last year but never filed due to not being able to afford it; I asked for my documents back; so I could do it myself online. They told me they no longer had the documents on site and I had to go to their Stoneridge location, which I guess is their main location for the Rochester area. I went all the way there on the city bus. That location didn't have it either and referred me back to the previous location. The previous location is still referring me to Stoneridge."

I have come to trust that I have received the best service and products that are available each tax year. I want to praise the patience that my preparers took with my 3 visits. I lacked critical documents but was scheduled, greeted, and assisted by the office staff with respect and understanding. I actually enjoyed my sessions with my tax professionals at the Rochester Main Street location! I have recommended them to friends."
