"DO NOT USE THIS TAX SERVICE! In February, we met with Michael Kramer for 1.5 hours to complete our tax returns. He was going to run our numbers a few different ways and get back to us with our options. We didn't hear anything. I called at least 12 separate times over the span of 1.5 months, leaving messages each time. Nothing. Not it is April 12. Not only have our taxes not been filed, but I cannot get in touch with Mr. Kramer to discuss our options. Finally, after a strongly worded e-mail, I received an apologetic phone call from Mr. Kramer. He was remorseful, and we finally went through the options of filing, we'll call them Option A and Option B. We chose Option A, went to the office that very night, reviewed the paperwork (all looked good for option A), signed our taxes and were on our merry way. Until May, when I attempted to track our returns. Hmm... The IRS can't seem to locate our returns using the info from the copies of our tax returns provided by Accutax. Something was up. Then the refunds appeared our account. They matched up with Option B, yet we had clearly chosen, agreed to, and signed the paperwork for, and received paper copies of Option A. Another strongly worded e-mail to Mr. Kramer and I received another quasi-sympathetic phone call. "Yup, it looks like we filed Option B after all. That's weird. I just don't know how that happened. Well, if you come back next year we'll give you a discount on your taxes." Yeah, fat chance! I will NOT be returning to Accutax again, and would strongly recommend that you take your business elsewhere."

"Very disappointed in their lack of communication and customer service. After many, many phone calls about why our tax return is not showing up as filed in the IRS system, we found out our SS#'s have been used by someone else and our return was rejected. We are the victims of identity theft and should have known about this weeks ago but every time I called I got excuses. Will never use this company again. Note: this company was purchased from the original owners, whom we never had an issue with."
