"So I booked an appointment at this salon for a pedicure. I arrived and we began on time. As the process started, the young lady was digging really hard under my nails. She was also doing it for quite some time so it began to hurt. I said to her I think that’s enough now and she responded by asking me if my feet were sensitive. I said no but you are going to far under. As she continued, it became more and more uncomfortable. By the time she made it to the other foot, one of my nails became bruised from the excessive digging with the nail tool. She then says to me oh ur nail is bruised so I’m like YES because u were digging to far under. Bear in mind I did not go into the salon with a damaged nail. Then we get to the scrubbing, this is like 35 mins later. This girl was scrubbing my foot as if I was a man walking through concrete every day. Once again I had to tell her that she was over scrubbing. I ended up getting frustrated and asked her to end the service. I spend almost an hour in the salon along with paying $60 for a horrible pedicure. The techs need to address each persons foot accordingly. You cannot scrub my feet as if I have layers of dead skin, if I don’t actually have. My feet were so chopped up for days after due to the over scrubbing. It’s a visually pretty shop but I would not go back."
