"I dropped my taxes off because I used HR BLOCK last tax season. I didn't receive a call before doing the taxes to inform me that the cost of preparation went up to $275. My whole return was only $371 so I was furious. I had to save up the unexpected cost to be able to finish and file. There was no price transparency."

She was throurough, fast and patient when my 4 year old was having a tantrum in the background on the phone during one of our phone calls, which meant alot to me. "Called multiple times to have my 2019 tax returns emailed to me and kept getting the run around about it. I spoke with someone at 10:37am. That person took my ctc info and advised that the person who could help me was out and will be back later that day. I waited and waited for someone to call me back until I started calling at 6:50pm close to their closing time giving them the benefit of the doubt to call me back. The lady I spoke to advise that they will check and see if it can be emailed to me as I tried their online portal and my documents was not there. Thus the reason why I ended up speaking to the person above. I need it to upload on file for something house related. Even if that person tried and it could not work, have the decency to respect me as a person and call me and let me know. Today I called and I had to force an apology. If my husband didn't take time out of his work to help me and figure a way to get the 50+ pages I have scanned as a document we would be screwed. Spoke with Michaela today and there was NO REMORSE. I had to ask them if they don't see nothing wrong with what happened and all she tried to do was transfer me. I demanded an apology. I don't believe all these great reviews because something isn't right. Treat people better or get better customer service trained people. Will be emailing corporate."
