"Really cute trail, great for dog walking or going for a jog. Moderate distance, mostly flat path that's reasonably well maintained. Forest and meadow views. Not too buggy during summer!"
"Another lovely park in Penfield. This park shares the same entrance with Penfield Fire Station on Penfield Road (Route 441). It’s smallish park about 2 miles of trails. Mostly level. A few spots a little bit elevated. The trails are mostly tiny gravel. A few spots were muddy. Depends on the time for the year and any rain. As of April 2023. It’s a great time to see that park. The weather is cool and can see various trees and bushes blooming. The park does have 3 downed trees. One is completely blocking the path. But can be climbed over (or a different path/loop taken). The front trailhead signage could use some TLC. The plastic covering is shattered and all the pictures/maps are badly faded. One other thing is I couldn’t locate the Wegman’s Hit the Trails Passport marker. In the book, it says it’s at the Don Cranson bridge, but I looked high and low for it. Might have been moved or removed."
"Nice nature trail to walk with kids. It’s pretty flat and mostly paved. If you do the big loop and the little loop it’s about two miles. There is a small bridge that goes over the creek which we had fun looking at the water. Nice trail, will definitely come back. It looked like there were maybe some spur trails off the main drag that we want to try another time, they were labeled but they were grassy trails as opposed to paved/stones."
"Good, manageable walking trails, especially with small children and/or strollers. Visited in the winter time. A couple of bridges across the creek add to the dynamic."
"I love it here. Long, winding paths. Not a lot of foot traffic during winter. 10 miles from my house, so might move closer to have better access to this as well as other parks."
