"Great park. If you need directions, use “North Ponds Park” in GPS. It’ll route you to the location where you’ll see signs for North Ponds Park along the way. Once you reach the park entrance, you’ll see one sign that says “Charles E. Sexton.” Otherwise using “Charles E. Sexton” in GPS will take you to a gas station away from the park (which happened twice to me when I visited and to a friend)."
"We chose to eat dinner at a restaurant down the street before the festival, so we didn’t have to wait in lines etc. and traffic on the way out was slow, but that’s to be expected, otherwise we had a beautiful time with family!"
"Love this place. We enjoy the waterfront art festival which features fine arts live music food trucks and the lovely pond and park. The park has clean restrooms and plenty of hiking"
"North Ponds is a beautiful little park. It has a circular 1 mi walking paved trail which takes you around three main ponds. All of which are great for fishing. It also has a frisbee golf course, barbecue setups and other family friendly activities."
"My favorite thing about this park is it’s ease of access and accessibility. That is also a negative though. The park is so close to 104 while the seats are mostly pretty you will also hear a heavy amount of traffic noise and get a glimpse of the highway every time you are facing or can see the south. This park could use additional lunch areas and places to grill out and have meals. There was really only one spot for that. This is a great spot to go if you’re looking for a easy access quick way to get out and have a walk. It probably takes 30 minutes to walk the entire outside of the park."
