"I was a regular acrylic nail customer. Over time, my nails grew thicker and thicker with each application. The technician removed the acrylic along the sides with nail clippers and only partially sanded down the middle of the nail. When I went out of town and had my nails done, the technician explained that water had seeped into the old layers and had begun to turn brown. The brown spots were visible. If he did not completely remove the old layers, those spots would eventually turn black, and I'd be in "real trouble." It took two hours and a whopping tip, but they were beautifully done and thin again. I should have asked more questions and gone elsewhere. I won't make that mistake twice."

"I originally wasn't going to leave a review. But as the days have gone on since my service there and my nails have continued to deteriorate from what was done to me - I feel people need to be forewarned. I've gone to this location 3 times and will not be back. First time I went was for a pedicure by myself. It was nice. A bit awkward since the tech wouldn't talk to me. But absolutely nothing to complain about and fairly priced. Especially since the facility is bright, welcoming and appears to be clean. The second time I went was for a full set of acrylic nails. The tech gave me some sort of gel nail instead that was put under UV lights to cure each time. The pain was almost unbearable. She could not understand me when I tried to ask questions about what she was doing. I ended up sitting through it hoping I was misunderstanding the process. My nails were in pain for days and I ended up at another salon to remove them and redo them. I stayed with that salon because it was such a good quality. I recently decided to remove my full set of nails and felt this location would be easy enough to swing into. I decided my previous experience must have just been bad luck and a misunderstanding. I asked if they had time to do a SOAK off and was told yes. I was handed off to another tech who started to file my nails down and clip them. She also could not understand me, so my questions went unanswered and I once again was left to assume that the service I had requested must just be starting off differently than I'm used to. She proceeded to use a credit card to slide between my natural nail and acrylic nail. Even though I continued to tell her she was hurting me, this is how the procedure went on. She also kept using nail clippers to break the acrylic apart even though it was still attached to my side skin and kept hurting me. Once they were mostly off, she filed the tops down so aggressively that my nails were paper thin and starting to bruise under the surface. Several days later, I am having to tape my fingers to function. I cannot use my hands at all without one splitting straight down the middle, in half or chipping. The dark spots under my nails and around them in the photos are bruising. The dirty spots along the edges and my cuticles are actually remnants from my old acrylic and glue that was not actually removed. I wish I had walked out. But at the time was struggling with the language barrier and feeling like I was misunderstanding or being rude. It is going to take my hands weeks to recover from this and lots of bandaging to try and salvage what is still remaining."

"Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. I was getting a dip manicure here every 3 weeks for about a year. I was always pleased and always recommended it to people. Now it has changed. An appointment means nothing, I have waited 20-30 minutes the past few times I’ve gone with an appointment. I got my nails done on Friday and by Saturday every single nail had a crack in it. I made an appointment to get them fixed on Monday with the person who originally did them on Friday. I was told she was not there and that someone else would do them. It was a rushed job and when I left they looked worse than they did before I walked in there. I figured I could deal with it until I get them done again. Well now 2 days later all my nails are cracked again and chipping and breaking."
