"Under no circumstances would I recommend this company. I guarantee that you will regret your decision. Do not be fooled by the positive reviews here. I am not sure who the individuals are who have reported outstanding results and professional service. However, after paying my deposit, I did not witness any professional behavior or an attempt at excellence. Please take note of the consistency of the negative reviews and how they repeatedly recount stories of incompetence, half-truths, misinformation and deception. There is not enough space here to describe the numerous weeks of delays, false starts, broken promises, inexplicable absences, and, ultimately, an unfinished project that was rescheduled five times. I have sent text messages requesting reimbursement, but I am still awaiting a response. The company promised to complete all the work outlined in the scope, so we paid upfront; nonetheless, we are still waiting for our money back. Please read the negative reviews. They are from real customers, and you will notice that the stories are similar. If you decide to hire this company, good luck. Once again, I strongly advise against hiring this company. You will regret your decision."

"Martin was a great man to work with. He helped out my small business when no one else would. I told him my budget and worked within it and did everything I had asked of him. He was punctual and communicated with me every step of the way. Thank you so much Martin!"

"DO YOURSELF A FAVOR - JUST LOOK FOR A DIFFERENT COMPANY THERE ARE MANY OUT THERE! Martin who I believe is the owner and the guy doing the job just has a receptionist that works for him they make it look like they are a big company and professional. They are in no means professional. This company is here just to scam you for money. I spoke to Martin over the phone just to be clear of the scope of work that would be done, only half of the things that were mentioned was completed, he took advantage since I wasn’t there when he was performing the job. Anyone that wants their hood cleaned please avoid this company you will save money and not go through all the hassle. Never ever using them again! I will upload photos of the work that was done so all you can see it for yourselves. These were taken after the job was done. Dust particles were still all over the hood and ductwork. After the work was completed and I wanted to file a complaint he said to complete that would be an extra charge, but when I first spoke to him he said they would clean the full hood, the filters, the ductwork which obviously wasn’t done."

I’m not sure who these people are who are talking about great results and professional service but, once my deposit was payed, I never saw evidence of any sort of professional behavior or attempt at excellence. Pay attention to the consistency of the bad reviews and how they tell the same story over and over again of incompetence, lies and deception. There is not enough room here to record the many months of delays, false starts, broken promises, inexplicable absences, lack of attention to detail, and ultimately, an unfinished project which was stopped due to Martin never having submitted the appropriate paperwork for permit approvals or inspections as promised in the contract. It was actually fortunate that the work stopped when it did as, subsequently, when working with new companies to repair the work, it was discovered that the equipment was installed incorrectly, would not work as intended (the retardant system could go off randomly at any moment due to incorrect installation - though it was “certified” by Martin, valves installed backwards, the vent is at an incorrect height, I can go on and on) and was not up to code. The vent system was so badly installed that in rain or snow we flooded the kitchen (welds are supposed to be waterproof). If I can save one other person from wasting many many thousands of dollars with this company then my time here will not have been for nothing. I expect a litany of excuses as a response to this review, you can see his excuses piling up to the other bad reviews, just as I received pages and pages of texts (he never answers a call - his cousin is his lackadaisical answering service) with similar excuses during our infuriating and fruitless engagement. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. "The crew at Hancock cleaning, fire and maintenance are amazing! We hired them to clean a commercial kitchen, in a restaurant we bought that had been sitting for quite some time. They did an amazing job cleaning the entire kitchen and restaurant! . Martin and his team were professional and even more important, personable and kind. Martin went above and beyond to help with an unexpected issue in the building, that had nothing to do with what he was there for. He is just truly a good person. After this initial cleaning we have now hired his team to maintain our restaurant. Highly recommend!"
