Simpler Times Cabins

"Comfortable and easy to fine, close to good restaurants and natural walking trails. The Wittenberg was stocked with dishes and silverware and completely clean! We went at the very beginning of November and no one else was around, but it looked like the cabins created a nice little community. The surrounding area was beautiful and welcoming. We will absolutely stay again."

"This was a great spot for a weekend getaway. In November, it was very quiet - we did not see anyone else here at all. Very convenient to Phoenicia for all your dining/provisions, and only 20 minutes away from Slide, Wittenberg, Cornell, and Giant Ledge/Panther Mountain. The cabin had a lot more kitchen equipment than I expected, so you could easily cook real meals if you wanted. Check in/out was easy and convenient (a checkbook is helpful!) I'd definitely come back to Simpler Times if I am in the Catskills again, and I'd certainly recommend to anyone else who's planning to visit!"

"My boyfriend and I stayed at the log cabin on a weekend stay. Our primary reason for going was to hike Giant Ledge and Panther mountains. After our rigorous hike it was the perfect place to relax and recover. The cabin was clean and fully supplied. The owners are a delight as well! Hassle free stay!! We are planning another stay and this time staying an additional night. Cant wait!"

"I’ve been coming here for years. Beautiful location. Clean and welcoming cabins. The owners are the best and make you feel so at home. There is an area for kids to play, there are books and games in the main house you can borrow. Right next to the water. This is my favorite place in the whole world to go to. I refer to it as my second home. Beautiful little town to go into to shop and eat that is only a two minute drive away. Many hiking trails, tubing, horse back riding and other activities to do. My parents used to bring me and my brother since we were kids and now we go on our own too."
