"A very strange feeling from the park. It was a very warm and absolutely windless day, the water in the river was like a mirror, absolutely motionless. But such a huge number of abandoned buildings that seemed to have been abandoned in one day! Of course, on Wikipedia it is written that the psychiatric center was closed by decision of the state authorities, there is a detailed description of the activities of this center... But there remains a depressing and strange feeling that there was a lot of something strange here... Probably, if you believe in the transmigration of souls and so on, this the place is filled with oddities and attracts people who would like to do their own investigation. But it's not for me. To be honest, this is probably the only park that I would not like to visit again. I don’t know... It’s a very strange feeling…"
"Such a beautiful and mysterious series of trails - I could get lost all day in them- probably better in early autumn as today I was quite cold after an hour."
"Great place to spend the day, relaxing on the river. Follow the tides. Follow the river down when the tide is coming in, and return when the tide is coming out. Otherwise, you will be fighting the current, and that will not be fun."
"Had an excellent experience with the guided cub scout hike. The scouts learned how to identify different types of trees by leaves and the different types of plants that are found in the park. Our guide also went into the history of the park. There are many old abandoned buildings on the site that nature is gradually reclaiming."
