"By far the best hike on Long Island! The elevation and terrain make it a nice workout, but nothing too strenuous. It takes about an hour and a half to complete. It does not loop, just FYI. People of all ages come for this trail. Dog friendly (must be leashed) and has pretty views of the water. The library is right next door and has a walkway from the main train to their public restrooms which are always very clean. Walk down the street for downtown Cold Spring Harbor for food and shopping."

"Sometimes I feel like I don't have time to exercise. Whenever I feel like that to myself, I come to CSH. Just one first course is good enough for one day exercise for me. It has couple of hills that make me work hard. But best part of this place is that it is located close to my home and I am always thankful this park is in our town."
