Reviews of Bufano Park
"Our two young kids have grown up here. They fixed the basketball courts but the playground is in major need of disrepair. Time to email our council member and see when this park will be repaved. Pros: sprinkler, swings Cons: equipment needs to be repainted and some replaced entirely, we need more music and sensory play for the kids here on the equipment itself"
"Love this park for practicing tennis off the wall. My only legitimate concern is the water bugs that come out once the sun goes down. It’s like out of a horror movie. Was it always like this?"
"I wasn't expecting what I saw. A bunch of middle/high school boys and girls at 12pm on a school day, went inside the bathroom and were smoking weed. What's worse is that two park workers were there and watched them and did not one thing about it. They allowed them to chill in the bathroom with closed doors, as if that's okay to do and then even laughed it off with them, like what? There were parents with babies around and couldn't believe it either."
"Great safe neighborhood park. 3 playgrounds for the smallest to the tallest kids. Toddler swingset as well as a regular sized. 8 handball courts divided by 2 walls, surrounded by fences. 2 "full" basketball courts(not regulationsize). A street hockey rink (requires permit for the key). A sprinkler for them hot days. And a dolphin people take photos of their children on. There are Boys and Girls restrooms available as long as there is a Parks Dept employee working. They do a great job keeping the park clean despite some lazy people who don't pick up after their dogs. I gave it 4 stars because the basketball courts concrete is warped and cracked. And there's people smoking weed often enough that it gets annoying when I bring my daughters. But its still a very safe park."
"My daughter loves this playground, but more so, loves the dolphin which she named Ellie!❤"
