"Absolutely love it here! We rented birches cottage and it was perfect for me my son and his friend. Heat worked fine, lots of utensils for us to use, lake access, along with canoes kayaks and paddle boards available! Would definitely come back here again! Also the location was great! Right next to daikers and in-between old forge, and inlet! The owners worked great with me as well."
"Full disclosure; I didn't rent here I briefly visited a group that was renting for the weekend. The camp seemed very nice but the property is phenomenal. View is top notch and water access is great as well."
"Meet your friends here for a stay. Beautiful lakefront for relaxing. Lots of amenities in iconic Adirondack cottages. Fantastic swimming. Boat slips, fire pits, kayaks and canoes included."
"My wife and I stayed in the Birches Cottage. It was nice to be able to let ourselves in, but it was very cold with no instructions on the heating systems in the cabin. I got the propane wood-stove started despite having no given instructions. I noticed there was a furnace with a switch, I turned the switch on but the furnace thermostat on the wall said "OFF". The propane furnace warmed up the cabin but after about an hour the Carbon Monoxide Detector went off. I turned off the propane furnace and closed the valve and opened the door outside. The battery on the Carbon Monoxide detector was bad. We opened all the windows and went to a gas station at midnight to find a new battery. When we got back the room had cleared out and the detector was fine. Eventually we found out that below the thermostat was small buttons for Heat, Off, and Cool. We got the furnace working well. The most frustrating part was that there was no emergency contact for anything, I tried calling the owners several times and couldn't get a hold of anyone. We felt really unsafe for a while, but there was nobody to contact or help us. The cottage was nice, but there were no instructions on the heating systems or anything, plus the owner had their phone off when we needed assistance, and no emergency numbers. We wont be staying there again and were disappointed in the service. Even after the whole fiasco I only heard from the owner once and had to text several times to get a follow up response."
"Been coming to this same location for over 35 years. Rustic conditions but memories that last a life time. Our families are now grown and the next generation looks forward to coming up each year for the same two weeks. Not often do you find a place this special."
