"Winter getaway for skiing. No cell service! Not the motel's fault - just a warning, if you need to keep in touch via phone. There is wifi but it dropped a lot. Beds - clean and comfy. Bathroom - great. Kitchen - nice, but our fridge was NOT working, which we did not know until the first morning, we woke up to room-temperature meat and cheese that had to be thrown out. The second night we simply put our food in the car since it was well below freezing outside. We will probably stay here again next time we visit the Catskills area!"
"This is a really great motel 3 minutes from the base of Belleayre Mountain. We spent every single week here last year so that We could snowboard daily and it was never a letdown. There's plenty of parking and the owner is very very nice. Everything you can need is on site and the atmosphere is very cozy and delightful. I highly recommend The starlight motel!"
"The proprietors care about this lodging! Spotless room, spotless linens. Comfortable bed. Full kitchen, well stocked. Great shower. Basket of amenities in bathroom (which a lot of higher-priced lodging doesn't provide). Very pleased with my stay. Recommended."
"My wife and I needed a last minute room and didn't have high hopes, but this place exceeded our expectations and was a comfortable surprise. The room was clean and updated to modern standards. It was nicely decorated, had a kitchen and full size fridge, and more amenities outside the back door that we couldn't enjoy due to the bad weather. It's obvious that the owner cares for this place."
"This weekend was our third time staying at the Starlite. We absolutely love it! The rooms are comfortable, and a blast from the past; the full kitchen in each room and outdoor bbq makes our little annual "sisters' reunion" truly special, as we can share a home-cooked meal. The woods out back, with the delightful faerie lights, are enchanting. And the beds!! The most comfortable beds I have ever slept on!! We will be back again next summer!"
