Reviews of Belasco Theatre
"One of the most beautiful theaters in NYC. I saw Girl from the North Country and How to Dance in Ohio there."
"This theater is a gem. It has recently been restored and the attention to detail is amazing. The original Tiffany glass lights are now sparkling, the seats are comfortable, and the artwork is wonderful. Come early to enjoy this masterpiece!"
"Went here to see How to Dance in Ohio, which was a sweet, yet mediocre show. The seats in the mezzanine are comfortable, although somewhat cramped. Bathrooms are not particularly crowded. Overall, would recommend the theatre itself, which was very pretty, but not the show."
"Historic old theatre from the Vaudeville days! Gorgeous murals inside have been restored as have the facades and all interior furnishings. Small enough that all seats feel close to the stage, though the far outside seats have limited views. All in all a nice place to see a show. Close to Bryant Park and Whole Foods for a walk after your show!"
"The chairs in the orchestra area are comfortable with plenty of leg space. I sat in row O and was able to see everything. The mezzanine overhang does cut the view of the top of the stage slightly, but it doesn't really obstruct anything. You can see all the performers, including their facial expressions, pretty well. The staff were nice and helpful."
