Clarksville Vol Fire Co.

"We are so blessed to have Clarksville Fire Department as the fire department who responds to our 911 calls! My mom is 82 and she has a Generac generator that was installed too close to the house. We couldn't get it moved! In the meantime, we had 3 911 calls where carbon monoxide filled the house. One of those three calls a tree fell on a power line and the firemen couldn't get down the road. They parked their fire truck and WALKED down the (dirt) road in FULL gear to get to my momma and save her! I was there all 3 times and each time she/we could have died! My mom thought the battery was dead and it was just being annoying. I grabbed the dogs and put them in the car and got both of us out of the house! Each time, including that time the house was full of carbon monoxide! They call it the silent killer! These firemen have been to the house for the same reason more than once. When we saw that they actually walked down the road to save US we just wanted to cry. Their unselfish acts are a quality that should be recognized! I hope someone, anyone reads this and realizes if they call 911 and get this fire department? They are in good hands! Thanks guys! I live 2 hours away in Buffalo. If my mom has a future emergency and I'm not there, I feel at ease knowing who will be responding to the call. Thankfully, the generator has been moved and I pray we won't need to call again. Amen!
