"Do not recommend. They increased my premium by 31% this year because they increased all NJ drivers by 9% and we had a tree hit our car this year. Then I needed roadside assistance and it took 3 tow truck companies and 6 hours total to get my car 3 miles and my drivers side door was ripped off by the 3rd tow. It has now been 3.5 weeks and they have not fixed it yet. I will be leaving as soon as this issue is fixed. Edit: I have called customer service at least 7 times. Nothing has changed."

"Went with travelers because it was the cheapest and best coverage. When I replaced my windshield, I had the shop calling me telling me that my insurance never paid out. Recently they drastically increased my policy because "all insurances are going up." They told me I can either bundle my home or switch. So I sat there with a home expert bundling my home. I've never had any claims, my homes major components are all Recently replaced and I don't live in a flood zone. I was denied because apparently the center of long island, new you is a coastal address. It takes me at least 30 min to drive to a body of water and I am no way coastal."

"Dreadful company for auto insurance. Takes 30 mins to talk with a live agent. The online portal is a miserable experience riddled with bugs and glitches. When you finally talk with a representative they agree with you about all the company's problems yet cannot help you. I would choose any major insurer over this company and not risk being with an unprofessional company such as Travelers."

"My mortgage provider's insurance Matic service recommended Travelers insurance when I bought my house in April, 2022. I have excellent credit, been paying my premiums with my mortgage. But Christmas eve I had to file a claim due to my hardly used new dishwasher leaking water onto the floor and soaked the kitchen laminate floor. Due to increase in claims I had to wait about a week for a local claims adjuster to do a video conference. He was great! He gave me a check covering the flooring in the house since all were the same. Renovators recently finished the floor & cabinets. Travelers sent me a notice that they will end my insurance in April, 2023 due to this claim and a claim in a different a townhouse I had to file for broken toilet ring, by a different insurance company in 2020! I filed a complaint with OR Div of Financial Regulation but since Travelers gave me 60 days notice, there was nothing they could do. However, with a help of my mortgage's insurance service, I obtained another insurance by 3/1/23. When I had Allstate, they never dropped me because of a claim. Pros: quite affordable for both bundled home & vehicle. Cons: can't file claim or they will drop you!"
