"The owners used to run a Korean-Chinese restaurant and I must say that their Chinese menu is the real gem here. The jajangmyun has so much depth in flavor and is most likely the best I've ever had. Their tangsuyuk is SO FREAKING GOOD, too. It's perfectly fried and the beef itself + the sauce are perfectly seasoned. Given that I've been coming to flushing for Korean-Chinese all my life, saying that this place is the best says a lot. It's a serious Korean-Chinese hidden gem since most people probably come here for gomtang (beef soup)."

"I can't believe for $20 all I got was few slices of meat and egg in a soup in a medium size bowl and side of kimchee. This restaurant have gone bonkers with their price. Mediocre quality, small portion. I left the restaurant feeling hungry. Nope. Won't be back for more."

"Been here multiple times with family. The meal is hearty and the restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere. The gomtang price is fair, but the sides are a bit pricey(seafood pancake). It would be good to share the sides with multiple people. I want to try the cold noodles next time, which are only available during the summer."

"Naju Gomtang has been a staple in this shopping center for many years. They have always been known for their beef rice/noodle soup. Many older and elderly Koreans come here for their soothing and healthy soups. They recently renovated and I was surprised to see an entirely updated menu with a whole bunch of new items. I have not braved into trying other dishes yet, and have stayed with eating their staples dishes from their old menu. The new menu items are pretty much the same as all other types of Korean restaurants serving similar cuisine in the area, so I feel those dishes will really need to stand out if they want to capture customers from other more established Korean restaurants serving those dishes. New menu items also meant that have increased their prices, an unfortunate circumstance for you and me as foodies. Service is average. They leave you alone and don't really pay attention to you unless called for. They do come quickly though if you need something. Just don't expect to have your water refilled or asked if you need anything periodically. They renovated the space so it feels more spacious. It feels updated but not necessarily a space that blows me away. Things to order: 1) Beef Soup with Rice or Noodle. I prefer with rice. 2) Fried Dumplings. They dumplings are crispy and not oily. Great texture and meat filling is not too heavy."

"A good selection of dishes, but are pricey. The interior is simplistic, so nothing fancy. Feels like an upscale quick eats restaurant, which isn't a bad thing. I'd eat here again, but with more friends to split the bill due to the price."
