"I will admit we had a somewhat complicated tax situation. W2s from 4 different states. But Ms. Curie assured us she knew what she was doing, so we went here. My first complaint is the accuracy. We had to correct a lot of misspellings. Not a huge deal just a heads up. Second, we were originally told (after our appointment, not before) it would be $200. We came back the next day to pay and were handed a $450 bill. Ms. Curie denied ever telling us a price at all but you should have seen the look on our faces when we were told that. Just for that alone I won't be coming back here. I still didn't think it warranted a bad review and paid up even though I felt dirty about it. However, today I got a letter from NYS that says I'm getting audited. So clearly I either didn't catch something or something was done incorrectly. I'll update here after we find out what happened. Based on other reviews this may be uncommon but make sure to stay vigilant and maybe get prices in writing instead of trusting word, and watch out for errors."
"Our preparer couldn't really figure out our complicated situation and sort of gave up on helping us. The numbers didn't make sense in the end so we chose not to continue and to do them elsewhere. He was nice but awkward to work with."
