"The Backlot Entertainment Venue (aka The BEV) is another cool concert venue in WNY. More intimate than a place like Dairen Lake. Similar feel ,albeit much smaller and better organized. More rural than Riverworks, but conveniently located just past Clarence Hollow in Akron, N.Y. Ample free parking on gravel / grass lot area. Plenty of visible security to keep in event space safe and secure. Bag check on entry. Similar rules to entering a Bills game (small clutch, no outside food or beverage, no chairs etc.). There were a couple food vendors, one on the side with hot dogs, sausage and hamburgers Another (Georgie's), had some really tasty cup and char pepperoni pizza (plain cheese too). It really hit the spot. Beverages ranged from bottle water and soda to various beers from IPA's, Corona & Bud Light to Bud Seltzers, White Claws, Jack Daniels canned beverage (peach, punch) and more. Pretty substantial selection for a concert venue. Even mixed drinks were an option. Prices were generally reasonable, the servers were friendly and efficient. The drinks were nice and cold too which is great on a hot day! All food and beverage options in the back or on the side of the structure (parking lot side). Inside the concert space, there were some high top table scatter in the middle and picnic tables and chairs along the outside walls. Plenty of space in front to stand. VIP tent and space (premium cost). There were some tables just outside of the structure too. The rear of the facility is all open (otherwise front wall, sides and a roof). Events here are rain or shine. Sound quality was really good regardless of where you are standing. Restrooms were in the back corner and were very basic. No running water for hand washing, but hand sanitizer was provided. We will return again for sure. Wishing BEV a lot of success!"
