"What an awesome hotel! I have always loved the history and look of this building. The hotel experience is just as incredible. I would highly recommend. Lots to see and do in the hotel and grounds. The hotel design is flawless, keeping a lot of the same feel. The staff were awesome! Restaurant and bar were also top notch. Michael did an incredible job serving us and making our experience the best it could be. The food was perfect! Great experience all around and would highly recommend. This is now our go to for our Buffalo trips!"
"So glad this property found new funding and the preservation work has continued! Obviously a lot of history here, dark and light. A big improvement is the restoration of the grounds to Olmsted’s original landscape plans. It’s a beautiful place to walk and explore. Also lots more to see inside the main towers, now main hotel lobby. There is a small museum on ground floor and ensure you go up to public spaces to see the incredible woodwork, including massive doors. They have a less formal cafe and more formal restaurant as well. Ample parking everywhere."
"Went to the spooky market on the lawn with my family. Super fun and then we went to check out the historical exhibit in the Richardson. Very interesting and cool place!"
"Absolutely gorgeous historical location and hotel. My pictures don’t do justice, but much of the inside is still the same, and you can feel the eeriness the whole time you’re there. I’d come here just to walk around even without a reservation, which was surprisingly affordable. Overall, very haunting yet beautiful."
"I love that this place exists. I know little about its history and future uses outside of being a community focused gathering space and boutique hotel but walking the grounds at sundown made for a truly awesome experience to photograph the structure. Magnificent in scale and fascinating to see half rehabbed. I almost wish they would lean into the spoke a bit more :P Nonetheless this is an impressive building and wrapped in manicured grounds to match its grandeur. I hope it activates the area and draws people to the city. Truly a unique thing and a must see in you visit to Buffalo. Very cool. Very cool indeed"
