Reviews of Harris/Law
"I was severely burned in the Lexington hotel Jamaica Queens Presbyterian didn't even properly debride my foot told me I was going to lose my leg and left me to my own devices called several attorneys and everyone turned their back on me said it was my own negligence I have nerve atrophy in my foot from diabetes the hot water was only turned on for 5 seconds and it was extremely hot and took all of my skin off my foot I need good representation"
"Despite the brevity of our conversation Mr. Harris impressively succeeded in being both rude AND obtuse simultaneously."
"Just pain and buckets of it; horrible legal advice, lazy owner too. Harris Law should retire. Or maybe he has? Harris Law should change its name to Hack Law."
"I engaged Harris Law for over 2 years, a giant mistake! Nothing at Harris Law is ever simple. Decisions are made unilaterally, without obtaining client approval. Harris Law doesn't care about your opinion; so if Harris Law is representing you, too bad if they do something you disagree with. They don't care. Try to dismiss Harris Law and they hold you hostage with legal bills that will cost you plenty. In other words you are stuck even if you disagree. Put another way, having Harris Law as your attorney is the equivalent of torture. Object too much and Harris Law will threaten to quit and "bill you for time spent to date". Nothing at Harris Law is ever done with urgency, too often incorrectly. Harris Law consistently overlooks even the obvious . Absolutely the WORST law firm I ever encountered. Management is non-existent and takes back seat, always reactive, never proactive and doesn't care if you are unhappy. Harris law even engages in accounting impropriety whereby clients literally charged interest for all dispersements even if it is still an estimate which makes zero sense but just eats into any possible payment you hope to get. Furthermore, Harris Law refuses repeated requests for substantiation even though required by law. When you request substantiation, Harris Law says you are welcome to march to our office to see purported back-ups while they watch over you. Refusal to provide clients with copies of routine depositions, research reports assessing asset determination necessary for lawsuits makes it impossible. Most lawyers assigned to my account over more than 2 years of hell working with them have less than a year of experience. Concerning pattern includes: lack disclosure; poor communication; zero strategy, failure to explain implications which are always last minute. Too often Harris Law holds you hostage, forcing you to accept less than the minimum any law firm could get due to lack of foresight. Bottom-line, Harris Law cuts corners doesn't even bother to correct mistakes/errors, even when noted. Much of the problem stem from last minute staffing. Curious there are TWO 5 star reviews without ANY explanation; confident those are SHILL reviews. Stay away. Shoddy business practices is an understatement. A disgrace."
