"Nice place. Lots of selections on the wine and liquor front. They have so many selections for a well stocked bar or just looking to try new stuff and helpful staff. The food and marketplace side is a little pricey but lots of selections for bar snacks."

"I'm surprised this place has a separate listing from Total Wine, but I guess for precision purposes, I'll post a separate review (and photos) for this section of Total Wine. Due to some obscure New York law, wines and liquors have to be sold in a different store from other alcoholic beverages. Literally located within the same main entrance as Total Wine, New York Marketplace & Brewery District (NYMBD) is where you will find the beers, mixers, and cigars that complements the wines and liquors found on the other side (a.k.a. Total Wine). My wife and I love our Belgium brews and the selection is phenomenal at NYMBD. There is also a large selection of eclectic craft brews from around the country for those that like to be a little bit different. I don't smoke cigars, so I can't really comment on the cigar section. Otherwise, there is a very good selection of items to go with alcohol such as cheeses and cured meats available at NYMBD."
