"Great place ! I enjoyed visiting this store due to its vast array of drinks known and unknown!! You can find various liquors and wines here…. Check it out if you’re in the area!!!"
"This place is crazy the guy will not accept 5 cents in pennies Last time I checked pennies are part of our currency in the USA this why the bank still issues it.... SHAME ON THIS BUSINESS.. IT IS AMERICAN MONEY"
"idk what everyone else is talking about, the guy was really nice and helped me choose a bottle of rice wine, great selection of chinese liquor. Haven’t seen better prices"
"If you know exactly what you want and you have cash then this is fine. But if you want to look around and choose a bottle of wine (what a crazy idea right?) you cannot do that. The entire place is safe guarded with strong plastic walls and locks. You walk in, and the entire store is blocked off from you, you can only see the bottles from a distance. I understand the safety issue, fine! Then he brought a bottle that I asked for and there’s no description on this wine bottle so I wanted to use an app I always use! He started having an attitude like it’s such a big problem I want to know what I’m going pay for and drink. Started yelling at me and we got into an argument.. then he said cash only! Which is not totally abnormal but after so many obstacles, cash only just seems like he doesn’t want people to buy anything :/ I feel like I sound bougie but if I was, I would have turned around once I saw the place. It’s really gritty. Which can be great! But in this case, the place doesn’t make you feel safe, the owner is so mean, and can’t properly and calmly buy a bottle of anything (unless you know what you want AND have cash). A true nyc experience (not in a good way)! - Love Maria, Born and bred in south Brooklyn"
"Host was some kind crazy. I just asked some info for wine. He was so angry and cursed on me. I could do nothing but cursed back. Never ever go there"
