"We just moved recently from nyc and this place is just awesome find! Just shopped for the thanksgiving meal and the prices were reasonable and the selection was impeccable. Viggy, the proprietor was attentive and provided excellent service, even carrying our purchases to the car on a busy day. Certainly the wine store for our family."

"Excellent spirits collection. They certainly have the largest selection in a 10 mile radius. I've seen Whiskys there that I have only previously seen in Scotland. The have some great Sake's, interesting Bourbons, and all the amaro's one could want. OTOH, they are a small storefront, and they can't price compete on the high volume, mass market, stuff with a big box place (like in Westbury), There is always something new and interesting there. I may buy my bulk Pinot Grigio elsewhere, but I go there to find something fun. In short, they trade variety and convenience against lowest possible price."

"Wines / Liquors are OVER PRICED, I would AVOID this place going forward. Had a terrible experience here, and the owner is making me feel very uncomfortable. Went there for the first time, and definitely not going back. For all those wine lovers. Total Wine & More (totalwine.com) would be a much better place for a variety of more selections and much cheaper prices. You could even order online from Total Wine if you don’t want to drive there."

"After years of driving/walking by/near it, I finally went into there on Feb 12 with my wife. I am more likely to shop at the non-chain stores more often. This place was big enough to hold quite a bit of inventory with lots of choices. The prices aren't bad. The selection was fantastic. My wife asked for a recommendation and it wasn't an expensive wine, either. I was rather floored by their selections of spirits (I'm not much of a wine drinker). Spoke to Don the entire time, there. I'll definitely be going back."

"VG has a great selection of hard to find whiskeys and liquors at reasonable prices. What he doesn't have he is happy to order for you. VG has opened champagnes for me to try when choosing which one to buy as a courtesy. Terrific wine shop."
