Reviews of Vintage Cellars Wine & Spirits
"Sunday closed at 8 when I went it’s closed at 7:30pm"
"Unbelievably terrible customer service, no selection, and overpriced. I was being helped by a woman behind the counter who was grabbing everything I asked for, when someone who seemed to be the owner butted in and tried selling me and my friends on a bunch of products we didn't ask for. Then, when he rang us up, he took the items I originally asked for out of the bag and left them on the counter, only ringing us up for the stuff he sold us on. I didn't realize until I got home that they weren't included; I would've loved to check my receipt, but we didn't get one. When I called, he acted like I was pulling a fast one on him and said he needed to "check the videos," instead of being candid and saying he didn't ring me up for them in the first place. I asked if he could deliver the missing items, (he gave us the hard sell on his "free delivery service") but he said that he "wouldn't send his guy over for a $10 bottle." I was missing over $50 of product! It was his personal fault, and yet he didn't take any personal accountability or do anything to make it up to me. Instead, he let me waste my time walking for 20 minutes each way before finally showing me my receipt and telling me they weren't including in the first place. When I left, he didn't even give me a bag, forcing me to openly carry the bottles home, knowing full well that I walked. This didn't even have to be an issue, but the owner made no attempt to own up to the fact that he messed up my order and then actively wasted my time, treated me like a criminal for wanting what I asked for, and offered no service for screwing me over. Suffice to say, I'll never be shopping here again. I'll just keep going to my local place, where I can get everything I got here for a fraction of the price and from people I can actually trust, unlike the charlatan that runs this establishment."
"Wine selection is limited but fairly-priced. They seem to cater to hard liquor, which is not my preference. In any case, the store is well maintained, neatly kept and offers great service. I pulled a bottle of Sancerre off their shelf but was informed at the register that its price was not programmed in their inventory. The attendant asked me what I typically pay and I tried to answer honestly although I'd never bought this particular brand. Instead, she went on the floor and found a similar white wine and charged me that price but allowed me my selection -- which I believe was a bit pricier than what she found. I love supporting local businesses in my community and hope that this is review is as helpful to potential customers as it is everyone working here. :)"
"Very nice liquor store, they always have the good stuff in stock and they are open until midnight"
"Beautiful store... all clean and new with tons of options but so much space to walk around without being crowded. The staff was A+ ... I just came from another store that I couldn't find what I wanted or get straight answer from anyone... Soon as I walked in here I had 2 beautiful ladies and a dude greeting me... Offering me tasting samples and telling me about some featured/new bottles like rum made with 3 sugar canes and Apple JD... I need it now!!! And even though they didn't have the whipped cream vodka I needed for a coffee drink... He got me a French vanilla vodka that worked just as good!!!"
