"It took me the full 90 days to close even though I was ready with the loan at the end of 30 days. I had to babysit these people and keep begging them to do their job. Shahid Ali arrived to the closing table 1 hour late and with no clue about a situation that came up at my final walkthrough (that I informed him about via email a few days prior). All this aside, they charge EXORBITANT legal fees and make you go with a title company that charges double what everyone else is charging. Disgusting and unethical. I had the worst time working with these people, and I highly suggest taking your business elsewhere with a more competent legal team that actually cares about you (or pretends to even care) rather than Shahid Ali and his law firm that only see you as a check. Don’t expect them to answer any of your questions after closing BTW, they don’t care. I have closed on 2 homes prior to this one and never had an experience like this. I regret ever hiring this team and should have went with literally anyone else. They treated me the way they did because I am a fairly young woman and they probably thought they could take advantage of me. Which they definitely did- I paid more than any of my friends and family on closing my home in terms of legal and title fees. I will take my business to a more reputable firm going forward."
