"My wife and I have lived in West Irondequoit for 48 years. We have had a number of contractors (some good, some not so good) come to our house over the years. Never have we had anyone as good as A.P. Remodel. We needed a step replaced in our back entrance and we had a lazy susan that was broken. One handyman said he couldn't replace the step because of a problem he would encounter with the siding on our house. Another said he couldn't repair the lazy susan but could remove it and put in some shelves. After waiting for many months with no response, I contacted A.P. Remodel after getting their name from my dental hygienist. Alex, the owner, immediately came over and said he could replace the step and fix the lazy susan. We were a little skeptical about the lazy susan but Alex assured us it could be done. Alex sent 2 of his men to do the job. They both were amazing. They worked their tails off, were very polite, took off their shoes when coming into the house and replaced the step in one day. The lazy susan did present some problems but Alex said his job was to overcome any obstacles to get the job done. Being unable to just replace the broken hardware in the lazy susan (as originally planned), he had to replace it with a new lazy susan kit. Result was better than we could ever have expected. Both days the cleanup was fantastic by his crew. He wasn't even going to charge us for the additional cost of the new kit because he felt bad that we had to wait so long-he was completing a major remodel in the area. I would highly recommend Alex and his company for any remodeling/construction job. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate Alex, his company and the final result a 13. Thank you Alex for everything.
