Reviews of Namco Pools
"I was so impressed with the service I just received. Melissa was extremely helpful in finding the right pool liner to replace my current one. She was very thorough and incredibly nice. I also spoke with the manager, Destiny, who was a pleasure to talk to , and she eased my mind about installation. They both were so easy to work with - they made my day! Also, I was shocked at how quickly I can expect to receive my liner. I will definitely come to them for my future pool needs!"
"We absolutely LOVE our Jacuzzi J-335 and have nothing but good things to say about Namco !! Destiny and Michelle were extremely professional, knowledgeable and helpful - when you are speaking to them you have their undivided attention both before and after the sale. They made us feel comfortable enough to take a floor model from another store which is something we may not have done otherwise. The delivery process could not have been easier; we were contacted well in advance and the truck showed up exactly when they said it would. The delivery team was wonderful. I put a LOT of effort into preparing the site and they did not disturb a single blade of grass when placing the hot tub. They made sure we were 100% satisfied and were in no hurry to leave until they were certain of that. Unlike many places we visited while shopping Namco had several units filled with water and this is how we determined that a 300 series was for us. It has significantly more power than the 200 series. I recommend wiring it for a 60 amp service so both pumps and the heater can operate at the same time - you can REALLY feed 'er the onions ! Hang on ! It has LED light bars on each corner and the interior lights cycle through a really nice show. No need for additional lighting at all. This is a genuine review - we are THAT happy with Destiny, Michelle and Namco. Once in a while you run across people actually doing their jobs very well and this is the case here. We highly recommend them!"
"I recently had to visit the store to get my water in my pool correct, the whole summer with the heat and the rain. I was greeted with a friendly face asking how she can help me close up the pool for winter. Thank you Erica for all your advice . I Will surely recommend them for all your pool needs."
"Hey all... So I went to a few places out in Poughkeepsie looking to either clean and set up the old hot-tub that came with the house I just bought or get a new one. I tried Royal first since it was the first place I saw but the lady there was really rude and it felt like she didn't think I could afford one or something. Then I tried Leslie's but they don't sell them anymore. The guy there was really helpful and we spoke for about 15 minutes about the area since I was new there. Then on the way home one day I made a wrong turn in a mall like area and I saw the wave icon on the door of a place called Namco. I thought maybe this is a pool place and gave it a try. To my delight it was and they had a ton of hot-tubs on display even with water in them. I met Destiny there and she was really helpful and mentioned they were having a display sale on the display models so they can make room for new inventory. I told her my situation and she looked up the hot-tub I had from a picture of the controls I took. She was able to pin point it in like a minute on a tub that was from 2008 from the image. She knew her tubs. Mine was a Jacuzzi brand with a rectangle shape and it happened that 2 of the Jacuzzi displays had the same measurements. She said I should pick the lighter color since it's easier to see if the water is cloudy which I did. We then went on to decide if I pay the whole thing off or finance it. I opted on the financing because of the writers and actors strike going on even though I had the money. I haven't worked since Nov last year and it is now Sept. Lucky I had a little savings to hold me over. We then checked my credit and got things going. I wanted to get the old tub out a few days before they delivered so I can check the foundation and make any repairs if needed. She recommended a place and gave an estimate that was spot on. They came and got the tub with no issues. When the tub was delivered the guys had no issues installing and gave me the run down on what I needed. I had to get an electrician to extend the cable that was dedicated to the hut-tub because the controls were on the other side for the install. He did a really good, clean job installing the new cables and now I'm enjoying my new hot-tub with my wife. Nothing like laying there at night looking up at the stars playing some music ( hope the neighbors don't start to hate us for that). Here are a few photos of the process except the electrician."
"Had (& continue to have) a great experience at Namco in Poughkeepsie. Everyone is quite collaborative & customer-driven. Bought a great pool (Manhattan 18x33 above ground), with NO hassle, for a great price. Installation also presented no problems with a very customer-centric team. They were replacing an existing pool & got the new pool so close to the deck there is no longer a gap between the deck & pool (something I'd been assured by other companies was very hard to do). Had 1 part that was leaking, took it back for a full easily-obtained refund. I have not seen this level of service from anyone for such a long time! Definitely recommend this store. Staff & manager know what they're talking about & are focused on the customer experience. Wow!"
