"Cyndy was absolutely wonderful throughout the entire separation and divorce process and I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of these services. During what is an incredibly difficult and emotional process Cyndy was kind, responsive, informative, and knowledgeable. She listened to what each of us was looking for, gave us appropriate feedback so that we had all the information to make the best decisions for us, and then executed everything quickly and efficiently. I expected the process itself to be much more challenging but she truly made it easy, allowing us to focus on taking caring of ourselves during this time."
"Cyndy was excellent throughout the entire arduous process of my separation and divorce. She was kind and compassionate as well as organized and efficient. Cyndy is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to marital law. I felt solidly represented throughout the process. Divorce is a very emotional time in one’s life. Cyndy made it as easy as a great attorney could do. Highly recommend!"
"While Cyndy was personable and easy to talk to while we worked together it seemed she did not prioritize organization to keep the process seamless and as harmless to both parties as possible. Cyndy would repeatedly ask for information that was already submitted, seeming aloof to what she had received and where she could find information she had already requested. When confirming or asking for revised documents, Cyndy would I believe forget to revise them, or miss requests, submitting forms we asked to remove due to incorrect information to the court, not making appropriate corrections when asked - which made me feel like she really didn’t invest in working on our case. The process of divorce is extremely painful for most and continuing to ask repeated questions and keep contact open when she could easily review our file to find what she is looking for before continuing to ask would have kept it from being more painful than it needed to be. I would advise shopping around for a mediation attorney that checks their work."
"Cynthia definitely made the process as comfortable as it gets. With all the sorrows that go along with seperation, her expertise helped guide us through the process smoothly. Hopefully you don't ever need mediation for seperation, but if you do, I would highly recommend her. She communicates well and explains everything so your well informed throughout the process."
"Cyndy Rochford is an excellent attorney and mediator. As a fellow attorney and mediator, I have referred to Cyndy on a regular basis. Recently I did a quick search to confirm Cyndy’s new office address for a referral and came across a negative review online. While I cannot speak to that particular matter, I can say that due to the rules of professional ethics, attorneys cannot respond to negative reviews as it may result in a breach of confidentiality. In my experience, Cyndy has always upheld her ethical obligations and would never risk breaching confidentiality, even if it was to defend herself. She is professional, compassionate, knowledgeable, and believes strongly in alternatives to litigation. If you are reading this review because you are looking for an attorney or mediator, please keep this in mind: 1. Divorce is deeply personal and private. Clients who are satisfied with their attorney/mediator are reluctant to post reviews because doing so would require using their names and most people wish to maintain their privacy. 2. Divorce is also an emotional process and can result in the parties becoming angry. People who are angry are much more likely to post negative reviews. 3. The only opinion that matters as to whether or not an attorney or a mediator is the right fit for you is yours. While opinions of others may be helpful, too many opinions can become overwhelming. You will know within minutes of speaking to an attorney or mediator whether the person is the best fit for you. Always go with your gut instinct. If you are seeking a divorce, the process is difficult and you will question whether or not you are making the right decisions along the way beginning with what process to use and what professional to retain. With professional support and guidance, you will get through the process. While I have full faith and confidence Cyndy would do an outstanding job, only you can determine if she is the right person for you to retain."
