Reviews
"Beautiful place for fair price. Just be ware that pets are little on pricey side - first night for $40, additional nights $20 each."
"Got to the room, it smelled really musky and was not very clean (so many dead bugs in the window). I let it go, because at least the sheets looked washed. Woke up the next morning and my dog is covered in fleas. She is on a preventative, and it was slowly killing some of them but we had to remove about 40 adult fleas. I know for a fact this didn't happen after her walk the night before, because we check her with a comb. So my assumption is that there were fleas in the room already, because it wasn't properly cleaned. The floors are painted black, which makes it even harder to see them. This was really disappointing because it cut our trip in half and we had to deal with the headache of flea removal when we got home. Anyone who has owned a cat or dog knows what a pain that is. We have stayed in pet friendly places before and never had an issue. This "hotel" (it's actually a motel) is under new ownership as of recently, and it's clear that they do not care about what goes on. Whoever bought it apparently owns other properties all over the country so they barely have time to really care about this one. I was able to get partially refunded, that's the only positive I took from this trip. I DO NOT recommend this to anyone."
"The property is gorgeous and a perfect location. I stayed in April so can't say anything about the horses. The room was well-designed and felt glamorous. The bed was super comfy, and the shower was amazing. The patio area is crushed gravel with some tables; super relaxing to just hang out and enjoy the sun. We brought bicycles with us, but there are bikes available for guests that are high-quality and Brentwood-branded. Recommend tooling around Saratoga Springs on bicycle if you have the chance. A few minor negatives: - In-room coffee/tea are for purchase, not included in your room price. I'm used to complimentary coffee at hotels, but since it's fancy coffee, I get why it's for purchase. Maybe include a complimentary option that's less fancy? - Contactless check-in and the closed bar made it feel like an Airbnb, for better or worse. It's nice to talk to a human in person. The rooms are VERY nice here, but don't expect the hotel treatment. - Some of the Brentwood "swag" advertised on the website was not available, such as the pen, notepad, and tote bag. - No fire pit or s'more kits since the bar was closed. It was lovely out (~70s in April) so these would've been great to have."
"Allow me to start by saying this…… we will be back! My Wife, Sister, Brother-in-law and I stayed last weekend and were so pleased with how smooth our check-in process was. We received texts before check-in and registered online. With both parties anticipating arriving late at night, we were both contacted separately which was great as we arrived at different times. The location was ideal. A wedding brought us to Saratoga for the weekend and The Brentwood was perfect for us. The staff was so nice, informative and helpful with our requests. We very much enjoyed the outdoor patio area and their beverage offerings both morning and evening. We walked to the race track on Sunday (it’s literally right out of your front door) and experienced our first horse races before we had to leave for the wedding. The location is perfect with plenty of rideshare options to get everywhere you need. We now have the horse race itch and already plan to make this an annual trip, we will be back next year and hopefully for many years to come, I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️"
"My girlfriend found this gem of a hotel for a trip over July 4th weekend my dog joined us on. What a gem this place is! They did an AMAZING job revitalizing what I'm told by the locals we a forgotten dump. The details of all the styling was just perfect. Beyond just paint, the attention to detail was amazing. The amenities for our dog was extra special; they had bowls, bed, treats and toys, all branded; even a bandanna that he wears. My only critique was that our room (6) was a little snug for 2 people and a dog, but were not ones to hang out in the room. During our stay there was a water-main break. Emma came around personally to alert us door do door, had water for us to use, and even offered to allow us to cancel our room reservation if we wanted. Marcus, the Manager even took care of a delayed delivery I was expecting. We're looking forward to returning here next stay in Saratoga and will be checking out their sister properties in the Catskills soon too. My only advise to improve would be to have a covered common patio/table area for the guests. Also, could be fun to have some yard games on the side lawn."
