Dr. Andrea Quintana, DO

"I don't think I'll be coming back after my most recent experience here. I called on Tuesday 2/06 at 5:13pm for an appointment because I was sick with a fever. When I called to make the appointment the receptionist confirmed my insurance and then asked "11:30am?" The next day for the appointment. I said "sounds good to me", the woman on the phone then sneered "EXCUSE ME?" Her tone was rude and she sounded offended. Like I didn't spit in your coffee ma'am I said the time worked for me. Honestly I felt like crap, she could have said anytime and I would have confirmed it. I thought her reaction was uncalled for and her tone was rude, but it wasn't the first time I've had someone incredibly rude answer the phone here. I got a confirmation email a few minutes later after getting off the phone. The following morning when I showed up to my appointment I was waiting to be checked in. The woman at the desk, Joan, called her coworker a "dingbat" in a condescending tone. Personally, I'm not a fan of belittling coworkers over a simple mistake (she didn't get a signature on a receipt). Then she turned to me to check me in, and told me my appointment was canceled. I was confused as I had literally just made it the night before. The rude woman told me my insurance was expired, which is why the appointment was canceled. My insurance isn't expired and a family member (on the same plan) was just there the week before. (They also tried charging my family member double the fee we normally pay, and when pointed out they adjusted the price). The woman at the desk said the insurance company called last night, which wasn't true I have no call from them. Then when I pointed that out on my call log she now said that the office called at 5:33pm the night before. Again, not true becuase I have no incoming calls from the office. Absolutely ridiculous that this office would cancel an appointment without calling, leaving a voicemail, and after confirming what my insurance was. I tried calling to get a policy number since I didn't have the insurance card on me. When I wasn't able to get through, the woman at the desk started ignoring me. I ended up leaving and going home sick without any help. Most of the staff here is rude and condescending, but I didn't get most of their names. John the PA has always acted like a prick the few times I had to see him. If you do go to this office, the only staff members I suggest interacting with are Liz/ Elizabeth. Liz is very friendly, kind, patient and professional. Everyone answering phones or working behind the check-in desk needs to take a lesson in customer service skills from her. Kayla the PA has also been friendly and professional as well. She would always listen to everything I was concerned over and address it (unlike John). And if you can actually get an appointment with Dr. Quintana herself she is a very smart, kind, and professional woman. In all my years of going here I've only been able to get one appointment with her though. Overall, I would not recommend coming here, but if you must there are a few good apples in this office."

"I’ve never been treated so poorly by a doctors office in my life. I have a son who I took for a brand new pair of glasses and they were very concerned that he might have some Eye disease that changes the cornea shape. They referred me to a specialist. My insurance just started needing referrals. I was notified by the eye doctor that I need a referral .. he was just seen in Dr. Quintana’s office 11 days ago they told me they cannot give him a referral unless he seen … I said he was just seen in your office 11 days ago they still said no. So I explain to them that it took me three months to get this appointment and it is urgent that he is seen by the specialist they still said no and when I asked if they could please squeeze him in so I can still keep this appointment they said no they cannot help me. To me that’s unacceptable when it comes to a child. When I called the eye specialists to cancel the appointment and explain to them why she told me that’s unacceptable as long as he was seen within the past 60 days he should’ve been given a referral. Any recommendations for a good doctors office I’m all ears.. this is my first complaint ever on google I’m a very passive person but I’m so upset with being treated with no compassion especially when it comes to a child"

"Dr. Quintana has been my primary care physician for many years. She is caring, intelligent, friendly, and dedicated. She listens to me and is never condescending. I trust her to manage my chronic health conditions, and would highly recommend her to anyone."

"I am a nurse and very particular about whom I choose to use as my physician, but I can say without any hesitation that Dr Quintana and her staff is phenomenal. She is attentive, courteous, diligent, and conscientious . I have referred many friends and coworkers and everyone is very pleased. The office is spotless. I noticed they are maintaining social distancing, disinfecting well and staff were wearing masks and shields and took extra care in maintaining a safe environment. This is very important to me."

"I have been with Dr Quintana`s office for couple weeks now. And I really like it The doctor is very nice, she knows a lot and she is always willing to answer any questions and concerns.The contact with the office is very good there is no trouble at all if you call the receptionist is very nice and professional. The nurses are very helpful, pleasant and polite. The waiting time is very short I never waited longer then 10 minutes. Overall I like this office very much The only thing, I don`t like, is that PA rush you out from a room."
