"Don't know what is going on there. I was high bidder internet bid. About 10 days ago and haven't heard a thing from them. Sent them 3 e mails and no response. Maybe they decided to give it to someone else. Won't deal with them any more"
"I've had nothing but great experiences with MJD Auctions. I even had a case where the listing was incorrect and they made good on it. They are courteous, responsive and deliver great customer service. These are all great qualities when dealing with online auction houses plus their buyer's premiums are among the most reasonable. I only wish that they would load more photos of each item."
"Martin Donnelly is a class act from start to finish. Very knowledgeable about antique tools, takes pride in his auctions & attention to details. Highly recommend"
"TL,DR: descriptions are misleading and not accurate. Buyer beware. Will not use purchase from again. This is about the online auctions, not in-person. Very misleading item descriptions, so buyer beware. Recently bought an adze that was described as "clean, sound, and ready to use condition." The description never mentioned that the head was broken in two and badly welded back together. It also never mentioned that the handle was cracked, and the head was not secured. So an adze that was broken, and the head falls off is not what I would consider "sound," or "in ready to use condition." The price of shipping the large item makes it prohibitive of trying to make some type of return. Which there is no return policy in the auction as well."
"I recently brought in tools for the upcoming auction. These guys are great. Very welcoming and took time to explain the process to me even though they were very busy preparing for the auction. Excellent service. I recommend this business to everyone! Thank you to the crew, Jason"
