"First and foremost I want to thank you for your kindness to me at one of the lowest moments in my life. None of the tests could detect any cancer in me. Even my surgeon who was going to do the biopsy didn’t think it was there. Needless to say when he went in and found cancer I was totally stunned. I’ve never been a sickly person and this sent my brain into shock. I was told that most likely I would lose my hair and was still working so the surgeon’s social worker suggested that I buy a wig and have most of my hair cut off, which I did right after I met with you. Didn’t have the nerve to cut it all off – and stop coloring it - until I got your beautiful wig.
