"Booked this hotel as it was a deal on Priceline. I was nervous when I looked up the most recent Google reviews to see a slew of 1 star reviews, mostly hammering on the cleanliness. I was beyond relieved to show up for my stay and immediately see those reviews could not have been more wrong! Immaculate room. Clean and comfortable! Add in the prime location, and it was everything I was looking for in the price range! Would stay here again without hesitation."
"We arrived early and they charged a fee for early checkin, we decided to leave the packages with the lobby employee... upon checking in they gave me a room with a clogged bathroom sink (I informed the front desk about the sink and they didn't go). We decided to turn on the air conditioning at night since what was coming out was the heater and late at night we realized that the air conditioning does not work. I decide not to tell the front desk since they didn't come and didn't fix the sink and I turn off the air conditioning and open the window to have cold air from outside and hear all the noise from the street every night. After 3 days and paying hundreds of dollars at this hotel and in order not to cause problems, I check out and leave. Room 1702 and my name is Giovanni Franco from December 14 to December 17, 2023. We will see if the owner or any employee gives me some type of refund."
"I recently stayed at Hotel Hayden in New York for two nights and feel compelled to share my experience to caution future guests. Despite the high cost per night, the reality of the accommodations starkly contrasts the polished images on their website. The rooms do not match the advertised standard. Additionally, guests should be aware of a hidden nightly fee added at checkout, which was not initially disclosed. During my stay, I encountered several issues with room cleanliness and maintenance. There was visible mold in the bathroom, signs of water damage around the room, and an unacceptable amount of dust. When I requested a different room, the hotel staff were unable to accommodate my concerns. This has been the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I strongly advise against staying here. I made the mistake of ignoring previous negative reviews, hoping the positive ones were accurate. I urge potential guests to learn from my experience and consider alternative accommodations. Consider this a fair warning."
"This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel itself is super small, and the elevator will make you feel unsafe. The showers have no doors, so it has the feel of a gym. And the customer service was the worst. They also charge you $30 in addition to your regular room rates for amenities that were never explained to me at all by their guest services. When I was checking out of the hotel, that's when I was made aware of the additional daily fees. I asked the guest services about the fee, she appeared very annoyed with me asking her anything. And the she began to laugh with another customer service representative as I walked away. That is the worst service I have ever received from a hotel that is definitely not even worth the money you pay. If you are a person of color, do not come to this hotel. If you value excellent service, and a quality hotel stay, do not come to this hotel."
"This hotel is located perfectly and has amazing friendly staff, the crew is always smiling and super helpful. Just beware though, the amenities are sort of NOT included?! There's a resort fee added of $34 per night per room for the breakfast, gym, coffee machine etc. Just so y'all know this will be added to your nightly rate. The amenities state free breakfast, can free in the room, fitness center etc, but this is actually not free. Just an FYI. The hotel itself is fine and again, the service is great!"
