Reviews of Margaritaville Resort Times Square
"I took 1 star off the rooms, which were very nice, but so small for my husband who is in a wheelchair. Even the walker we use to get him a few steps proved challenging to use in the bathroom & to get him in the bed. Luckily we were only there 2 nights because there’s no way we could have worked around the challenges we faced for longer than that. The service we received was excellent, from check in to check out. It’s in a very convenient area for going to Broadway shows. I highly recommended Margaritaville Resort as great place to stay."
"We absolutely loved this hotel! Great location, exceptionally friendly staff and the rooms were small, but very clean and well laid out. Try Jimmy’s Corner for a local neighborhood bar with cheap drinks and a fun time! We will definitely stay here again when we come back."
"This was one of the best stays in NYC I have had. I visit for work often and this hotel is definitely one of my favorites. I couldn’t believe how nice everyone was. After living in NYC for quite some time, I didn’t always expect warm welcoming greetings. But every single time I walked into that resort, there was an employee with a smile on their face greeting me. The rooms were a bit small, but SO CLEAN. You can’t expect a big room in a New York hotel. There were multiple restaurants on site and the room views were great. You are right next to all the trains to get you around the city and to different neighborhoods. I was there in the winter and hope to stay again when I am back this summer. Thanks for a great stay!"
"This hotel is great. I plan to stay again. The location is great, the rooms were beautiful albeit tiny but still nice, the bed was incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed ourselves. We love Margaritaville in general so this was great fun. The reasons for the 4 instead of 5 is because the pool might be 4 season but it's not exciting for winter even though it was promoted as being 4 season. Maybe it should be warmer? I'm not sure the solution but it's a great pool and lucky to have in Manhattan. It didn't feel very resort like though. The other reason is I didn't love the rooftop bar being used by people not in the hotel. It was too busy when we went up and there were a lot of folks in the hotels elevators going to it seemed. There was security sort of seemingly checking & directing people a little on the ground level. The price was great for Manhattan and it was a great spot to stay."
"We enjoyed our stay at this Margaritaville location. The location is hard to beat, you are in Times Square and steps away from the New Year’s ball (you can see it from the rooftop). The vibes and service in the hotel were great, but some things could improve. Waiting on the elevator proved to be a dreadful experience for us every time we had to go in or out of our hotel. With so many floors and with this location servicing people who weren’t staying there but just using the rooftop bar, there should be more elevators. There is simply too much traffic in them and too long of a wait. Laundry seems to be a nonexistent thing in some of the hotels I’ve stayed in in New York. No washer and dryer but you can send your laundry off and pay per article of clothing. This service is not cheap, laundering 1 bra would cost $3 and 1 shirt another $5. God forbid you have a full load of laundry. The lack of a microwave in the room proved to be an issue. This forces you to throw away perfectly good food and force you to spend more money on food elsewhere. But, this should be expected in hotels around Times Square I have learned. Aside from the above mentioned items, our stay was great and our view of Times Square was unmatched. Would recommend."
