Reviews of Rochester Process LLC
"I've used Rochester Process for over 20 years at the legal offices I have worked at. They have NEVER let me down. They go above and beyond for our clients. They are knowledgeable and trustworthy. The owner, Bill Palma is helpful in all areas, including out of the area services when needed. They don't price gouge and their affidavits of service are correctly provided the first time around. I have the utmost of confidence in them when I give them something to service. It will be done correctly and on time."
"This review is of Rochester Process LLC and it's owner, Bill Palma. Mr. Palmer "Bill" requested that we do a service for him in Tioga, PA. Our office is located in Elmira, New York - quite a distance from Tioga. Our server took the service to the address given and it was a bad address. This was the address of the defendant's grandmother. The grandmother gave the server another address for the defendant. When my server arrived at the second address, 40 miles from the first address, there was no answer at the door. Still at the second location, the server telephoned the defendant who requested the server leave the papers in the mailbox which simply cannot be done. All of this was reported to Bill and Bill asked to us to send Rochester Process the invoice. We proceeded to send the invoice to Rochester Process. It should be noted we never charged for the second address. At first, Bill refused to pay our bill stating he was "speechless" about the amount. After almost a year and several reminders plus copies of the invoice, Bill gave us his credit card number. But only after he made a big fuss about his bill and leaving a negative review on Google of our company. When I asked Bill to take down his review, he threatened to file a claim with NAPPS, a professional organization that we both belong to. Bill states in his review of my company that the defendant was never served. While that is true, Bill failed to mention that he gave us a wrong address. Bill infers we are "mean" in his review which is laughable. We are mean because we want to get paid for our hard work? Bill complained that I said it was "freezing rain" the day the server attempted to deliver his papers. While yes, it was raining that had nothing to do with the service. Even if the sun were brightly shining, that doesn't change a BAD address to a good address. In summary, Bill takes no responsibility for a situation he created and passes the blame to us. I bankrolled his service and was deprived of the money due for almost a year. I guess Bill thought if he ignored us, we would go away. But, that's not how business works. Bill complains we did not quote him a price. My partner states he gave Bill a price on the telephone. While I agree we are more expensive them some of the other process servers, we don't make anybody use us. But when they do, they can expect excellent service in a timely fashion. Bill, please take an inward look at yourself and your company for the problems you caused instead of blaming my company for YOUR mistakes. You received an invoice from our company and didn’t like it. You chose to ignore the invoice for 10 months and were angry when we finally demanded payment. Thank you for reading!!!"
