"The manager is awful, always deny all of their mistakes, problems are from customers! They have 5 pm close tradition for Super Bowl, then they assume everyone knows this, so no sign around. And when a child try to ski for the rest of the day from 3:20 to 9 pm, they just give the tickets without a warning that only less than 2 hours till their closing! They assume we know everything! Awful service and awful attitude."
"Love swain, been skiing there all my life. I feel like the cleanliness has really gone downhill in the lodge and especially the bathrooms. Each week I cringe every time our family has to take a trip to the restroom, but for the price and being local, you really can’t complain. We enjoy our time there besides those things."
"Had the best broiled lemon pepper fish and potato dinner in recent memory Friday night at the Shawmut restaurant. The service was very good. The slopes and snow were perfectly groomed and a joy to ski on Sunday."
"I love Swain. May not be as big as Bristol but I'm a firm believer that conditions here are always better, a lot softer not as icy. When all the trails are filled up this place is the best hills in the area. Some nice glades to adventure through with a thousand different ways to get through them. So many little hidden gems. Old ruins of former lifts you get to ski through. Love the double chair it got some pick up. This place is so old school they don't make it like these anymore. $500 season passes? Where ya going? Pull my car right at the bottom of the hill, fire the grill up, tail gate all day and ski to my car when Im done. ✌️❄️"
