"So far, ONE STAR IS TOO MANY. I haven't even made it to an appointment yet and I'm extremely disappointed. I've been waiting for my appointment to figure out if I have sleep apnea, which you would think is pretty important since every time I stop breathing in my sleep I feel like my body is trying to die. First, they are for some reason using my emergency contact's phone number, which is odd to me. They have called him to confirm the appointment, which he did press one to confirm. Then, today is my appointment at 10 am but they have called him again to reschedule. They left a voice mail with a phone number to call back. So I did. But the girl that answered at the number they gave me, sounding like she also just woke up, says I have to call back after 930. It's 830 in the morning. I had to take time off of work for this appointment. I've been waiting for months for this appointment. Must be nice to just not have to do your job and probably still get paid, unlike myself. Can I charge a 75 dollar fee for no show? I'll just go somewhere else."
"Bar none, the worst office staff in the history of medical offices. Rude, incompetent and could care less about the patient. Trying to get prescriptions refilled is a stroke inducing process, every single time. This time, the operator took it upon himself to gather info from me, which I had to explain to him until I was blue in the face. (This is why you're on hold for half and hour-the wrong person trying to do someone else's job). After all that, he sent it to the wrong pharmacy that never contacted them in the first place. It's been a week now, and still no prescription sent to the actual pharmacy, as usual, which has faxed them twice already. I called back and asked to speak with my provider's secretary, and was eventually connected. Without gathering sufficient info, she said she'd look into it, and hung up on me! Unreal. Read the bad reviews here, they're all true. I've had good providers here, but this office staff has to go!"
"If I could give this office zero stars, I would. The receptionists are rude, unprofessional and condescending. They treat patients as if they have no other choice but to tolerate their poor attitude. They speak loudly enough for everyone in the waiting room to hear about how much they hate patients. Elizabeth is the worst of all of them. Expect to wait at least an hour for your appointment maybe an hour and a half or more. My prescription wasn’t sent the same day or even the day after my visit - regardless of the fact that I was experiencing extreme discomfort. I had to call the office 4 times asking for it before it even arrived at my pharmacy. Disgraceful. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else."
"Dr. Ahmed Khan was extremely knowledgeable & he went out of his way, I felt, to correctly diagnose and make sure I had the proper medicine. However his staff was frequently rude & inefficient, once rescheduling an appointment without notifying me, and on another occassion left me waiting for 45 minutes without an explanation although I politely asked why the wait. I was told he’ll be in “any minute now”. After 20 minutes, when I asked assertively, I was told his morning hospital rounds were running long, and it would be few more minutes. When I asked why this was not explained to me, as I had other appointments to keep, I was told I was not his only patient and need to understand he has rounds. I said I understood physicians had rounds, but why schedule me on the morning he has rounds which can sometimes run long in all medical specialties? I was given an eye roll and informed that I requested an early appointment implying this was my fault. I was to be given the results of tests that day, but could not wait longer as my time was important and scheduled as well. I requested the doctor call me when he got in, and he graciously did. I left this practice despite my confidence and genuine like of Dr. Khan. It was a shame as it was nothing to do with his care. He and his partners need to reevaluate their staff, their rules, guidelines & responsibilities for how they treat patients."
"Dr J Khan is fantastic! Been going to him for over a year now and no complaints. He knows my asthma better than any other doctor I’ve encountered. I’m at the point where I will only speak with him about my asthma rather than my primary or urgent care doctors. He has called to check up on me outside of scheduled appointments. Also if my insurance won’t cover certain prescriptions he helps with samples. Yes there was a wait to get into the practice but it was well worth it. According to my primary at the time she said I was lucky to get an appointment that soon with him. My wait was 3-4 months I guess it’s usually 6. A doctor like him is hard to find."
