"I've used Dr. Plancarte for about 8 years when she was in Baldwin and she is one Great doctor."
"Their new phone system has created a huge barrier between patients, office personnel, nurses and doctors. It's just not possible to get an appointment. Communication and caring always made this office (originally in Baldwin) stand out. This is what happens when a small office gets taken over by a monolith. Dr. Plancarte is/was worth the hassle and distance once we moved out of county. Hopefully she is not gone. It's hard to get a straight answer--I actually got through and inquired. If she has found greener pastures, WCS and I wish her well. May she long serve the patients who need her."
"Currently 35 weeks pregnant and scheduled to be induced in 2 weeks, spoke with the receptionist who helped get me an appt. Called me the morning of my appointment, btw I live an hour away and was about to leave my house stating the doctor will be out sick today. Only offered me one day the week after, unfortunately it’s my last day of work so I had to decline. She was very rude about it, I explained I needed an ekg and this appt due to being induced and being 35 weeks pregnant, she said stated work should understand. Instead of even trying to offer me TODAY, which was the day of my appt! I told her to forget the appt completely, terrible experience and I see why they have 2.0 out of 5 stars."
"Unbelievably careless attitude and bad management! IMPOSSIBLE to schedule the follow up appointments with certain doctors, pharmacy approvals never come on time. List can be continued. But the last drop was when dr. mchyman and her so called assistant refused to continue prescribing medications which “doctor” approved and prescribed for the last 7 months! Unheard of! She refused to prescribe life needed medication to a type two diabetes patient who has A1C over 9!!! How can that kind of “doctor” can even work in USA! It is not a third world dump country! It’s the USA where healthcare system was built on OUR taxpayers account!!! SHAME ON YOU! Message to managers: YOU ARE MAKING PATIENTS LIFE MORE DIFFICULT than they already have!!!"
"I’ve been coming here for my primary care physician Dr. Carolyn Mchyman who is an excellent PCP & gets a 5 start rating from me for all her efforts. Her assistant Stephanie also gets 5 stars for me as she is always helpful & very thorough. This is not even worth 1 star but that’s what I had to give it in order for it to be rated! First to get an appointment is like jumping though hoops as the slots are not convenient & usually 2-3 months out from when you call for an appointment. Then you come in for your appointment & you are waiting 30-40 mins without anyone telling you anything about the lateness. You then speak to the office manager & she is as helpful as a doorknob, making assumptions & excuses regarding her staff or blames the doctor for being too thorough. I love my PCP but will have to look for another doctor as the hassle of coming in for an appointment is too stressful & very disappointing! I will not be back to this practice & I’m really sad as the office manager didn’t apologize or wanted to hear what my concern was & never even asked her staff to make announcements to the patients about the doctors lateness. Mount Sinai needs to look into this practice as it’s horrible."
