"absolutely amazing and would highly recommend! amazing front desk staff and so easy to make an appointment. they listen to all your concerns!"
"The Cardiologists there are wonderful & caring. I am always able to be seen. My only complaint is the office staff being rude & not calling me back."
"I am writing another 5 star review! I am a patient of Dr. Malhotra. He was unavailable and his colleague called me *2 times* to help me out when I was experiencing some unusual symptoms. I appreciate the attention and thorough help of both physicians! In addition, I have issues with math and memory. I did not understand a billing statement. Three of the office staff members spoke to me on the phone, to explain and answer my questions. As a disabled person, I appreciate their patience, kind tone, professionalism, and willingness to help me. Thank you for being ESSENTIAL WORKERS! Much respect! "
"Don’t let insurance laps if you have any device implanted. I lost insurance for a few month and then received a bill months after for $4000 in transmission fees of the device. Now my heart is acting up just 3 years after ablation and Dr. Abraham Mozes won’t see me until they get full payment. Dr Mozes also said that I wouldn’t be responsible for the charges at an follow up visit but now that I need them they want their money."
"ALMOST KILLED MY HUSBAND! DO NOT GO HERE Stress test results were not told to us for ONE MONTH because the office kept rescheduling the appointment finally a phone call was made to our house because we demanded an answer and was told Dr. Cohen needs to see you ASAP tomorrow in the office. Dr. Cohen said You had a silent heart attack and you need surgery tomorrow. After all the prep and the stress of telling our family surgery was scheduled for Dr. Rosenstad to be the surgeon. After the procedure He came and said: they MADE A MISTAKE and that the xrays were read wrong and he did NOT have a heart attack in fact, he is PERFECTLY FINE! He said he was so sorry that we had to go through all of this. He said honestly when I was in there I see nothing wrong your arteries all look fine. He apologized and said that it has never happened to him. Dr. Cohen never apologized. To add insult to injury.....EVERY TIME we go for a procedure, surgery, etc for something minor, this incident is picked up and we have to explain that the findings were NEGATIVE that no stents, or open heart, etc was needed that Island Cardio made a huge error in reading the xrays by mistaking a shadow for heart attack. We have tried in vain to get Island Cardio to at least put on the records that the findings were NEGATIVE and they refuse. The Practice Manager, Carla is not cooperative and insists that there is nothing they can do to rectify this mistake on the records that every hospital, surgi center, etc has access to. All we are asking for is for the office to input that the results of the procedure was NEGATIVE and no heart attack occurred. Also, we went to another cardiologist afterwards and was told that Dr. Cohen was prescribing the wrong meds to maintain a lower heart rate. He spends more time talking about everything else except what is relevant. He has to be the worst doctor ever. For a medical practice to not take responsibility for a mistake and for them not to change the records to indicate that it was a mistake speaks volumes. I wonder how many other patients have misinformation on their charts? If you value your life, your cardiac life, please do not put it in the hands of this practice. They don't care."
