"The service is the first thing you notice. Very friendly and accommodating. The food (try the bisque) was also very good with ample portions. If you're looking for a romantic atmosphere, well, this ain't it. Good food and outstanding service... you found your place."

"Absolutely delicious food, cozy friendly atmosphere, great menu, super friendly waitresses, can’t recommend enough! Went for the first time last night. It was busy and every one on the staff was friendly and the entire atmosphere was great. The waitress inquired if we’d been there before and I had not so she brought a sampler platter to try a few of their menu items. It had applesauce, Cole slaw, collard greens, mashed potatoes and gravy, Cajun corn, Mac salad, bacon Mac n cheese, and smoked baked beans. Everything on the sampler was delicious! And what a great way to make people feel welcome and to experience the menu! My friend had a BBQ platter with pulled pork and pulled chicken and collard greens and Cole slaw. I had the nachos with pulled pork. We did not wait long for the food and I was very impressed at the portion sizes. Highly recommend the nachos! They were absolutely loaded with corn and cheese and beans and pulled pork and sour cream and the original bbq sauce and so delicious! Overall what a great experience and the food is amazing and the atmosphere is super inviting."

"7 dollars for garlic mash gets you a tablespoon of food LOL what a joke. Ate here years ago and it was great. Not sure what happened but it's gone way down hill. Not worth the money by a long shot."

"A friend took me to lunch here. It was very slow, very quiet. Seating was uncomfortable because it has no padding. Service was very quick. Menu was very clear with sooo many options. Presentation of food was very nice. Portions were of decent size. Food was very tasty. Had a microbrew of a beer that had pineapple, mango sour in it. Went perfectly with the sweetness of smoked meats. Dessert was really tasty too. It's a little out of the way but it's definitely worth the trip."
