"This is a New York State Campground. Reservations must be made via Reserve America. For tents and travel trailers. No electricity. Flush toilets; Hot showers; easy access to potable water. Wood and ice on site. Bear lockers for food storage."
"7-14 to 7-16 We had 1 big and 1 middle sized tent, and they were able to both fit on our site (#258) Our campsite had more room than some we saw, and I'm glad it wasnt any smaller. There was a mud hole right off the edge of the pavement, but we were able to park over it. Saw 3 black bears. The one walked about 5 ft into the woods right behind our campfire ring. Make sure you use the bear box!"
"Beautiful campground, our site was stunning right on the water, neighbors were quiet, could hear a pin drop at night but instead heard the loons wailing (amazing). My biggest fear is bears, had one walk right in between my neighbor and our site the first morning, and then a few nights later one was spotted a few sites down walking down the road. We keep a clean site but if the camper before you does not, you may have company as bears return to where they find food. Water was warm, garbage/recycling area was clean but a decent trek from our site. No complaints!"
"Campsites are pretty large and accommodating. Park staff are friendly and helpful. I have been coming to this campground for 20 years and each trip gets better every time."
"It's a nice campground at $20 a night. If you are wanting piece and quiet this isn't the place. Stayed 3 nights. People were very loud and obnoxious and it didn't matter what time it was. Quiet time is between 10pm and 7am but it is not enforced like they say it is. First night was ok. 2 night got woke up at 3am because someone was slamming doors. 3rd night people weren't quiet it well after midnight then got woke up at 6am by someone's dog barking for over an hour. Don't bring your dog if you can't control it as it will eventually ruin it for other people that like to bring their dogs. It was $20 for a canoe rental for 24 hours. There's a couple trails to walk. The only bathroom stalls that had a lock on the door were the ones where the showers were and one was so rusted the lock didn't work. First time going and probably the last. Will not recommend"
