"I went there last night with some friends. the ambiance & food was great! My only issue was that after two hours they where pushing out. Just as an FYI our bill was well over $700+ and finishing our second bottle of wine. Side note a table was empty near us."
"We dined here tonight and we were seated promptly. The server was pretty friendly and brought us our drinks quickly and took our order. The appetizer came out really fast only 10 minutes after we order which was pretty good for this place. One thing that was a big shocker is the two steaks that we ordered came out in under a half hour which is an incredible speed for steaks. The steaks themselves were alright, a little overcooked on one side but overall pretty good, they chopped it up for us even. The reason why I’m giving 3 stars for the food instead of 4 is the desserts. I ordered a peanut butter brownie and the peanut butter was just way too overpowering for me so I sent it back, that is what cost this restaurant a star. Now for the atmosphere let me explain the two star differences, one star was because it was very loud and I was unable to enjoy a nice meal with tables close together and people shouting. The other thing that I really didn’t like was the walls were covered by ugly wallpaper and green booth things covering the back of the wall which I thought was pretty ugly so that’s why I deducted two stars for that. Now the one thing that made the difference in my overall rating was the pricing, $90 for a ribeye is just ridiculous. I can buy one from the store for much less money and higher quality so that’s what did it for me. $255 without alcohol for two people is just a lot of money for two people and I can go to a different restaurant for 1/4 less of the price. I say this place is okay but it’s really expensive for the quality you’re receiving and they could improve significantly in food and atmosphere."
"Total rip-off, they close at 9 we arrived at 8:10. Complete rush job. The hostess ignored us we had to find our own table. The steak was dry and more fat than meat. The waitress was pleasant but I feel because they was closing in 45 minutes every time I barely finish her anything she was taking stuff off the table. 138.00 nightmare. Gave her a 40.00 tip because I am not rude however would have gave the steak to my dog and I won’t ever go back. No wonder they are open 5-9 pm. Horrible service and huge prices, make the money quick cause God knows no one is returning for a second trip. Should have read the last 4 reviews prior to mine. I could have saved 175.00 on dinner for two. I had bar food at Changing Times across the street last month. 1/3 the price and better service and way way way better food. I be embarrassed to own this place. Staff worry more about conversating than twmj g care or customers. Oh yeah front side of menu is good, back side is all booze. They want you to get hammered to be okay with buying high priced dog food. Thank God the Mac and Cheese was good, but how can you mess up max and cheese. Total one and done, wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy. What a joke and the place from outside looks so good. Thanks for ruining a good day."
"I have so much respect for this place and the people working there but I have to be real in all my reviews and our experiences have been disappointing to say the least. We figured the first time it was a one time off, but not only a second time, but also a third time it was utterly disappointing. Firstly, trying to order on the phone with drunken Natalie was a nightmare. We had to repeat phone numbers at least 5 times and at the end "22", she started assuming the name was "TwoTwo"... She could not get the order right and after 5 more failed attempts to communicate, we almost decided against ordering. That's unacceptable. Shortly after we called back and placed an order. The steak was not cooked right. The teriyaki or whatever marinade they used gave the steak a foul sour taste. The sauce given to us was not the one we wanted and basically was cocktail sauce. The mashed potatoes were forgotten. The Mac and cheese was hard and undercooked. No breadcrumbs and very lackluster. The chicken was dry and sour. There was no balance in flavor, no orange zest, no currants. The farro salad was inedible smushy, soggy mint leaves - no farro in there at all. The risotto cake was made soggy by the salad. The creamed spinach was more like a soup. Very disappointing. So much love for this place and the people that work there but after 3 times I can't hold back anymore. In terms of price, everything is a bit overpriced in comparison to the quality. And in terms of atmosphere, while some things are hit, there are a lot of things that are a miss like the uncomfortable chairs."
"Could not have been more disappointed in our dining experience. Our cocktail was made incorrectly, the bartender came over and offered the missing ingredient (tonic) after we were served. “Bread” was a special (on request) option, that was added when requested. Our steak was cold/warm….even after advising the busboy/server to heat it again. We got our meal in “sections.” Very disappointing. Our faces must have shown it as the waitress did the “right thing “ (why we gave the one star) and waived one drink and offered a “round on the house.” (Much appreciated, but too late. Oh yeah, one more, coffee requested, but decaffeinated not available. This is not a grand opening weekend and the prices reflect a steak house. Very disappointed. Do not recommend"
