"This place has some of the freshest high cm quality meats I've ever seen in my life! They're accommodating if you want to substitute in their package deals as well as fresh cutting meat to your desire and liking, such as; thickness, the right cut of meat, thawed or frozen etc.... They also have amazing sakes when they decide on them. One time I went in with the desire for FOUR 1" thick Rib Eye steaks. I left with EIGHT 1" thick NY Strip steaks bc normally they're $8.99 (still not bad price AT ALL) BUT TODAY THEY'RE ON SALE for (if you could believe it) $5.99!!!! LIKE WHAT???!!! I really prefer Rib Eye BUT DAMN NY Strip at $5.99 a pound NOT PASSING THAT UP!!! Not to mention I bought double and froze 4!! They were so darn fresh when I ate them that night I was in my glory!!!"

"This is a fairly good green grocer / meat shop. I was grateful it was open on Thanksgiving day . Living in Far Rockaway you often have to travel to locate some things . Trying to find fresh produce or a meat shop is one . Both the meat & produce were fresh and the staff quite friendly. If you run out of something for dinner and are nearby please go , it will be worth it ."
