"Not a bad place and have lots items. Their staff are really friendly and helpful. The manager is ok but always looks angry and shouting lol but no offence. Issue is that there is less space to walk on. They have few items aren't actually halal. And the sweets are almost always stale and tastes like burned and bad quality. Twice now I've found rice bag torn inside after opening from outside."
"a bit pricey, butchers are nice Edit: I don't know how this supermarket received a 3.9. Maybe from their regular customers. I only come to purchase meat. Some vegetables look very good to purchase, some have flies over it. They should consider removing those. First few times I had come, the cashier that worked there asked me where I am from, so I said that I am from Sylhet. There is no point of saying that I am from Bangladesh when the cashier himself is from Bangladesh. Then, he replied, "Well you should say you are from Bangladesh and not the district you are from." If I did say I was from Bangladesh then his following question would be, "Where in Bangladesh?" I thought it was odd to have that conversation. He knows I am Bangladeshi, I know I am Bangladeshi. Let's get straight to the point and know our differences. Bangladesh has many districts. Most cashiers are very nice but there was one who made fun of my Bengali because my Bengali accent sounded Banglish. So, in front of everyone she announced, "This is the reason, I teach my children proper Bengali." Did my parents not teach me Bengali? I know how to read, write, and speak Bengali. Just my accent sounded American. The cashier shouldn't make fun of others because the rude action will reduce customers like me coming and spending money. Bought frozen Koi fish and found a big nail inside the stomach of Kou fish. I don't think I will be returning back as a customer."
"I started getting meat from here once they got HMS certified. I once bought chicken from here from the pre-packed plates. The cashier smelled it and I asked what was wrong. She said that some of the meat had gone off so she was checking. When I went home and unwrapped it, the meat was stinking. My issue is: why didn't they take the meat off the shelves if there was a possibility of it being off???? Anyway that was few months ago. Yesterday i bought chicken, not prepacked, I asked the butchers in the back for baby chickens. Two of them were smelling a bit when I washed them. I thought its just me and it can't be off, so I proceeded to cook it. As soon as it got hot it started stinking horribly so I knew it's definitely off. Never getting meat from here ever again."
"My go to spot for deshi groceries. Love that it’s 24/7. My preferred time for shopping is later at night when it’s chill. Gets busy during the day!"
"This a new branch of Mannan Super Market in Ozone Park. Prices are very cheap. Various products, including a various types of Bangladeshi products. But, the space is too small and management needs improvement. Other than that, great place to shop and save some bucks."
