Reviews
"2 hours free Parking if spending $50 and more at Jmart."
"Right inside of New World Mall on Main Street, this is a well stocked supermarket right outside of the 7 train that carries a mixture of Chinese, Japanese, Korean and even Western groceries. It is a little confusing to navigate the area but nonetheless makes up for their good pricing. The only downside is that I had a cashier that was not that pleasant to interact with. I recommend this supermarket!"
"It's all about the location. They have the volume because of the bus stops and subway station. The vegetables are mostly always wilted. Fish is average, sometime the tanks are low on live fish. They do have free one hour parking if you shop over certain amount of grocery. The worst business practice is the minimum requirement to use a credit card at $50. Buy some dry food for free parking and go to other places for meat and veg."
"On Nov 23, 23 at 5:30 pm gate 17. I was deeply disturbed by the fact that a poor customer was being yelled at multiple time by the cashier for incorrectly entering the PIN code of his SNAP card. Apparently she was having a bad day because she treated everyone on the line including myself very badly. It’s heartbreaking to see a customer being bullied and the cashier murmured “retarded” in her own language Wenzhounese while the customer was leaving. I want to confront J-mart why are customers called “retarded” by your employees? What have you done to stop the verbal abuse against your customers? Is this how you treat your customers when the community made who you are today? I know it’s difficult but I will try not to shop here anymore."
"Plenty of Asian food choices from Thai to Korean to japanese to regional Chinese . Also lots of desert and tea stalls as well . I loved my boba tea from black tea stall . I ordered vegetarian noodle soup from the only soup place that offered vegetarian choice . Would definitely come back and try Thai , Korean and japanese ."
