"I've used Ebbtide for years, for 2 different dogs. Both have always enjoyed their time at "doggie camp" and I am able to relax on vacation knowing they are safe and well cared for."
"Have trained at Ebb Tide in the late 80's of last century (then did Search and Rescue with my dogs). Retired and now started training again with Maya, a Landseer Newfoundland bred and born there. Highly recommended."
"I purchased a puppy from Joan over 11 years ago and Gander is still doing great. As a breeder, the communication lines are wide open and Joan is very quick to respond to my inquiries and answer my questions."
"I had my dog TDI test there. Everyone was very encouraging, and helpful. The facility is a nice space to work dogs. Good parking. Easy to get to. I would only advise to provide an outdoor garbage for people to pick up after their dogs. I dislike having to put poop in my car."
"Funny I’ve read several reviews all saying the same thing. If several people are saying it then more than likely it’s true. This is a horrendous place to work for. One day I just had enough. What’s worse is nobody is doing anything about it. I’ve watched on several occasions people’s little dogs getting hit while groomed because they moved. The fact that there is a dog that lives there that should have been put down is insane!!!! I was bit in the face by a dog because she’s doing a friend of her friend a favor. Why was this dog living there? I’ll tell you. The owner couldn’t have her at the house because of her grand daughter. Now I love animals I really do but when I am not the only person she’s bit and you can’t have her around your family something should be done. The owner of this kennel told animal control I didn’t want the dog put down which wasn’t the truth at all. I’m a firm believer no dog should be put down unless there’s a good reason. I’m the 3rd person she bit. I had 2 constructive surgeries on my face and the owner of the dog said oh it doesn’t look that bad. If you work over 40 hours you don’t get paid overtime. Because you get paid by weekly you get your hours moved to the week that has less than 40 hours so she doesn’t have to pay you overtime. She’s already admitted that to me. As far as the tours yes absolutely she allows tours. She schedules the tours and make sure things are in order. The kennels are cold. I would turn the heat up for those poor dogs in the winter. I miss those animals something fierce but I would never subject myself to that kind of environment again."
