"Shopping experiences lately are not as good these days. The young black man in the fish department has a very nasty attitude. It's not him having a bad day it's just who he is. I shop there quite often so I'm not judging on one encounter. Don't choose any fish that needs to be cleaned it's half done and thrown to you. You try smiling at him and say Thank you Gives a mean unwelcoming look and says nothing. He's definitely discouraged me from the seafood department. Also those pre packed snow crab legs are unacceptable. You can't serve them at a dinner party because they are a bunch of broken pieces. Broken crab legs can be used in gumbo and they should be packaged as such. Whole crab clusters are impossible to get at that store I ask do they have the box of them in the back and they always tell me the pre packaged are all they have. Definitely not the friendliest store !"
"Went here a few times. They have new floors, and isle signs. Place was nice and clean. Have everything you need, and some good deals. Only problem is I bought bread and expired three days later and that was a day earlier than label said. I contacted ShopRite corporate and they helped me out."
"Never go to this store. They have really rude customer service and a rude cashier. If there's a problem, they don't even try to solve it or listen to it. I've read all the reviews here, and check out the reply left by the owner. It's all the same answer. When I called Customer Service, they didn't even listen. This is my first time seeing customer service like this. I still can't believe there are such rude cashiers in New York. I think this is a very racist store. I put my items on the register and take them out to the front of the cart to pay, but why did she check the empty cart? The white woman in front of me and the white man behind me, she didn't check. There was even a bag on the man's cart. If you were going to inspect it, you should have inspected the man's cart, right? When I asked you something, you frowned three times and said you didn't understand. Everyone around me understood, why didn't the cashier understand? And why didn't she just put my things in a bag? The woman in front of me and the man behind me , she packed each and every item."
"I’ve been going to this store for about 3 years on a regular basis( 3-7 times a week). Great selection, good sales offers . Friendly overall. However, today I was pulled aside by the store detectives and had to follow them into a small room after I paid. they demanded to see everything that was in my bag, I showed them my purchases from Target and another store I had previously been to, plus receipts. I explained to them that I had receipts for all the items I previously bought, and they didn’t even bother to look at them, nor did they tell me which items specifically they thought I had stolen. I feel like they pulled me inside the room simply because I had another shopping bag on me. Even after I showed proof of all purchases, they asked me if I was sure I hadn’t stolen anything. I think it’s harassment because the cameras must have clearly shown I hadn’t taken anything. I honestly don’t understand how this misunderstanding even happened-are they randomly accusing people of stealing?? I then asked them what I did to make it look like I stole something, they couldn’t explain it and simply stated they saw “something happen “, then offered a very brief apology. I think the store detectives should get their act together. This is not how you treat a regular and known customer who has never given you any issues. At least check the cameras to be sure that something was taken before you do something like that."
"Cheap prices. Great selections. Correctly marked shelves. And no long lines. Now, they have self-checkouts, so you can scan your items, pay, and leave. And if you have problems, there's the helpful associate available to help you. My wife and I found the prices to be cheaper than Target and Keyfood here. Sometimes by over $3."
